This introduction to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is for experienced advisers and their supervisors who are looking for an overall understanding of this benefit. It will provide delegates with a comprehensive overview of PIP, its advantages for claimants, suggestions for how advisers can improve the chances of an award, and issues to look out for. This course does not discuss the specific PIP descriptors in detail. SWRU have separate courses covering the descriptors, including completing the PIP2 form and the mobility descriptors.
