This full-day course is for experienced advisers who sometimes deal with complex benefit queries concerning EEA national and their family members. You will need a broad understanding of the social security benefit system. It does not look at benefit issues concerned with other immigration issues for non-EEA nationals. It will provide advisers with an understanding of the issues that may be relevant when advising EEA nationals and their family members and cover the relevance of a suitable right to reside to entitlement to Universal Credit. The course is designed to enable the adviser to enable the adviser to identify cases in which the right to reside is an issue and provide options for advising clients in these circumstances.
