It will give you an understanding of the rules for revision and supersession of Universal Credit decisions. In particular the course will consider how to change a decision where there is a change of circumstances, including whether an extension of time for notifying a change is possible. This course is for experienced advisers who sometimes deal with complex benefit queries concerning non-UK nationals. You will need to be familiar with Universal Credit and preferably have some experience of the EU freedom of movement rules.

This introduction to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is for experienced advisers and their supervisors who are looking for an overall understanding of this benefit. It will provide delegates with a comprehensive overview of PIP, its advantages for claimants, suggestions for how advisers can improve the chances of an award, and issues to look out for.
