This course is for staff and volunteers who are helping clients with Universal Credit claims, and want to know more about who is treated as self-employed and how self-employment affects a Universal Credit claim. This course will equip staff and volunteers with greater knowledge of the specific rules and requirements for the self-employed in receipt of Universal Credit resulting in a better understanding of entitlement to the benefit and a stronger ability to resolve problems with awards.
