Who is this course for?
Aims
This course is for advisers who are familiar with Universal Credit and who want to understand more about the tricky areas of this benefit.
Objectives
The course will cover a range of topics relating to the more complex aspects of Universal Credit. It will not cover the basic rules of entitlement. By the end of the course, delegates will have increased knowledge of a range of topics including:
- Alternative Payment Arrangements
- Advance Payments
- Claimant Commitment
- Work Allowances
- Change of circumstance
- Sanctions
- Benefit Cap
- Deductions from UC
A complete set of slides will be provided at the end of the course.
