Who is this course for?
This course is for advisers who are likely to be involved in assisting clients to claim Attendance Allowance.
Aims
The course is designed to enable advisers to understand what is important in using an Attendance Allowance form to explain how a claimant meets the criteria for an award of this benefit.
Objectives
At the end of the course delegates should:
- Be able to identify claimants who may be entitled to an Attendance Allowance award
- Understand the legislation governing Attendance Allowance
- Be able to use an Attendance Allowance form to accurately reflect the claimant’s care and supervision needs
- Be able to assess if an Attendance Allowance award will impact on other benefits or give rise to new awards
A complete set of slides will be provided at the end of the course.
