Who is this course for?

This is course is for any adviser keen to understand how to ensure that relevant information is provided on a PIP2 form.  It will be of particular interest to advisers who have, or wish to have, a role in helping claimants complete disability forms.   

Aims

The course is designed to enable advisers to understand what is important when using the PIP2 form to explain how a claimant meets the criteria for the benefit.   

Objectives

At the end of the course delegates should  

• Understand the role of the PIP2 form 

• Understand where to look for the criteria for entitlement to PIP 

• Understand the role of the DWP decision maker in PIP decisions 

• Know where to find the DWP guidance on decision making and how to use it in completing the PIP2 

• Feel more confident that they are able to provide relevant information when completing a PIP2 form
