Pension Credit

Who is this course for?

This course is for advisers who may be advising claimants who have reached, or who are approaching, pension age about their possible benefit entitlement.

Aims

It is designed to enable advisers to understand the rules governing Pension Credit and to be able to advise potential claimants accurately and safely.

Objectives

At the end of the course delegates should:

  • Be able to identify claimants who may be entitled to claim Pension Credit
  • Understand the legislation governing Pension Credit
  • Understand the impact of other benefit claims on Pension Credit entitlement

A complete set of slides will be provided at the end of the course.

On the day you will be able to join the course 15 minutes before the start time and will go into a waiting room until the trainer admits you.
