Who is the course for?

Advisers who support people who currently are unable to work due to illness or disability, and who will be advising on ESA and Universal Credit.

At the end of the course delegates will have a good understanding of:

  • Contributory-based ESA rules of entitlement
  • The Work Capability Assessment test for ESA and Universal Credit
  • What Claimant Commitment requirements may apply to someone who has Limited Capability for Work
