By the end of the course delegates will have covered the following areas:

• What benefits are being replaced by Universal Credit and when

• What the basic rules of entitlement will be

• An outline of what payments will make up Universal Credit

• What conditionality claimants will be expected to comply to

• Who is likely to be better-off and who is could be worse-off

• What are the potential problem areas with the new benefit
