Who is this course for?

This is course is for any adviser keen to understand how to ensure that relevant information is provided on a disability application form. It will be of particular interest to advisers who have, or wish to have, a role in helping claimants complete disability forms.  The course will include exercises that focus on completing the PIP2 form. 

Aims

The course is designed to enable advisers to understand what is important when using a disability application form to explain how a claimant meets the criteria for the benefit.

Objectives

At the end of the course delegates should

• Understand the role of a disability application form
• Understand where to look for the criteria for entitlement to disability benefits
• Be able to identify what individual questions on a form are designed to illicit
• Feel more confident that they are able to provide relevant information when completing disability forms
