Who is this course for?
This course is for staff and volunteers who are helping clients with Universal Credit claims, and want to know more about the changes to Limited Capability for Work Related Activity coming into force in April 2026.
Aims
This short course will provide advisers with an overview of changes. This course does not discuss specific LCW or LCWRA descriptors.
Objectives
At the end of the course delegates should be able to:

- What changes are being made
- Who is ‘protected from’ the changes
- How cost of living increases of the elements will be implemented
A complete set of slides will be provided at the end of the course.
