Benefits Update

Who is this course for?

This course is for staff and volunteers who have a good understanding of the benefits system, and who want an update on recent and future benefit changes.

Aims

This two-hour course will update staff and advisers on legislative and guidance changes, and how these changes may affect your clients.

Objectives

By the end of the course delegates will have a greater understanding of:

  • Universal Credit recent changes and updates
  • Other benefit changes introduced in recent months, as well as those planned for the near future
  • Court case update
  • Social policy issues to watch out for

A complete set of slides will be provided at the end of the course.

On the day you will be able to join the course 15 minutes before the start time and will go into a waiting room until the trainer admits you.
